Darts Federation of Vojvodina was founded on November 25th, 2001. The founding place of federation was Subotica, and it is founded as a non-government and politically impartial federation of constituencies, in which the darts clubs incorporate voluntarily with the goals of organizing and development of the darts sport in this region. The federation was founded to further develop and upgrade the sport of darts and the competition in Serbia And Montenegro, Balkan Peninsula, European continent and the world. The full legal name of the federation is DARTS FEDERATION OF VOJVODINA, with the acronym PSV, and its main office is in Subotica, on the following street address: Vase Stajica 7.

PSV is joining the corresponding internationally recognized worldwide organizations. For that purpose, PSV became a member of the Soft Darts World Federation (SDWF) in 2002, and it is invited to all the relevant assemblies of the members of this organization.

PSV was founded to pursue the following goals:

• Development of the sports of darts
• Care of the athletes, children, youth and adults, who play the sports of darts
• Creating the favorable conditions for our athletes' competition abroad
• Organization of competitive events in the sport of darts in Serbia And Montenegro
• Organization of participation of the darts clubs in the domestic and international events
• Representation of the interests of our members
• Performing activities for the improvement of quality and amassing of the sport of darts in this region
• Supplying the region with the state-of-the-art equipment for the sport of darts and modernizing the existing equipment
• Familiarizing all of our members with the newest achievements and developments from the world league of the sport of darts
• Organizing and brainstorming the seminars, meetings and constructive talks between the members of the federation and other interested parties, which should serve for the exchange of the experiences, business and sports incorporation, and achieving mutual business and sports interests
• Organizing the seminars for umpires and coaches
• Certifying the umpires and coaches using the international standards

There are currently 20 darts clubs that are the members of the federation. They are registered and have the status of the sports clubs. For this short period of existence, PSV formed the Premier League of Vojvodina. There were 10 clubs which participated in this league in the 2002/03 season. The only qualifying factor for participating in the league was the quality of a certain club and its athletes.

PSV participated in the 7th World Championships in electronic darts, which was held this year in Spain. In various disciplines, we collected two gold medals, one silver and one bronze. As a team, we were placed as the fifth best nation in the world.

In the 2003/04 season, there are 12 clubs competing in the Premiere League of Vojvodina. This season is also significant as the inaugural one for the Ladie's Championship of Vojvodina in electronic darts.
